UBIN & the blessed fall

I enjoy moments like this. Old friends coming together for a trip. Enjoying friendship and family-ship! Life isnt all about family and your loved ones. I think interacting with one's social circle is needed just for that "back to fun" moments. Much needed for families who gets too absorbed into kids, in laws and that "fun" is a "much needed outlet".

I had fun, despite the fall.

God knows how I fell, before my brain cells tell me to brake, I had crashed into KP's bicycle and landed on my knee! Adding to the already congested trophies on my knee! Arghhh...pain but bearable. Years of trophy collection has made my knee semi-immune to bruises and scratches.

The good of the fall?

Having KP nursing me :-) It is sweet and especially heart warming to know he's there to nurse my wounds when I fall. At the corner of my eye, I could see his sweet focus on disinfecting the wound, slowly and gently putting the plaster for me, then checking to make sure I wasnt cringing quietly, then holding my arm to make sure I can walk with more ease.

Guess such is the most important thing anyone needs in life.

Someone to nurse you when you fall. All else dont matter now.
