rene's got NEW eyes

At 4.30pm, the Lasik Surgery Clinic sits one patient and her boyfriend.
She hears a fellow patient wailing "nurse pain pain. my eyes keep tearing" whilst another walk out of the surgery peering through the eye shield to check her mobile phone nonchalently. She begins to fret. "Dar I dont want to do surgery already"

She is a scaredy little cat, who got very positive assurance and support from him, of which she is grateful for. She looks into his eyes, and he gave a non verbal cue of "everything's gonna be alright"

Thats my dar .... always there for me when I need him.

And in the picture, thats me, the patient who lacked the courage, got affected emotionally by wailing fellow patients, the one who prayed non stop for God's intervention and peace, and finally she went through lasik.............

see...some pictures of me in my eye shield. Boy after the discomfort was over, I could finally take some cool pictures to post on our blog.

I will have NEW eyes

Am I excited? - a little

Am I afraid? - quite

Above all, I commit unto God for a smooth and successful surgery. At the same time, I thank God I have dar to accompany me there and send me home. *can always count on him*

Somehow this day has a significance in my life.

Perhaps its the thought of "I will never ever need to wear glasses anymore" heeee.... =p

Dar will miss my gesture of "pushing up my specs" in a semi-cute manner. I will do a last video of me and specs later and upload!

Meanwhile, prepping myself mentally for my eye lasik this afternoon :-)

All Good Fun!!

We are stucked, for now, on the shores of Singapore.

So here's a nice reminiscence of our trips to Bintan in April and Bali in May. Yeh we were probably too hot on trips (it was honeymoon period ya see!), so now its a breather session.

The upside of which - nice $ in our accounts.

The downside of which - hmm.....when will we do it again? =p

Dar says next year we will go JAPAN - land of Dar's favourite cutsy little jap candies. Meanwhile some nice pictures for me to chew on first while I save for Japan (no more taxi rides to work =p)
